Sketch of the Month

At the beginning of each month I will upload a Sketch for your scrabbooking page or card and my example of it.

Send your picture of layout or card for publication on this page.

Be creative with this – turn he sketch around, flip it over, add photos or journalling instead of embellishments.

August 2010

Sketch:

Ideas for this month’s Sketch:
- Use just one side to make a single page layout or a card
- Rotate the pages to the smaller photos are down each side or down the centre, or even in a line across the bottom
- Replace some or all of the top photos with journaling from different people about this event, or brochures and maps you’ve picked up, or even cardstock squares holding tickets
- This sketch would look great done for two people – husband and wife, brother and sister, one page about each person with title and journaling combined on each side
- Make a long card, replacing the smaller photos with flowers, ribbon, small pictures or three little words

June 2010

Sketch:

Ideas for this month’s Sketch:
- Replace one of the photos with journaling or memorabilia
- Use a beautiful patterned paper, allowing the ‘white space’ on the sketch to show off the images on paper
- The three embellishments allow for a visual triangle, move these around but keep three items
- Use one or more of the embellishments for journaling, adding a small embellishment to the edge to keep the visual triangle
